Highly prescriptive programs set busy people up for failure when their days involve incessant demands. Life balance is not always realistic but I help clients enjoy the journey and the destination - whatever their goals.

Coaching can close the gap between what you want to do and what you actually do to achieve health and wellness through your lifestyle.
Health or wellness coaching combines a structured approach with theory from coaching psychology, behaviour change and positive psychology. It supports clients in overcoming resistance to change by determining what they want, why they want it, what’s stopping them and only then creating an action plan together.
The coach helps clients take responsibility, experience success and ultimately achieve more significant change with a focus on facilitation, rather than prescription.
Through many years of experience, I firmly believe that achieving a healthy life is neither about spending it on a treadmill nor obsessing about calories and macronutrients. That's not a life and it's not healthy.

The Process
I coach in person, by phone or Skype and provide health and wellness presentations and solutions to corporate, health, medical, educational and sporting groups.

The evidence is irrefutable that supporting health and enhancing wellness keeps people performing at their best. Whether you invest in yourself, your staff or athletes, health coaching can increase productivity, retention and individual and team results.

Commitment
​
Minimum 12 weeks; an initial one hour vision and planning session and eleven weekly half hour follow up sessions.
Cost: $1055 AUD
Three months is minimal to effect behaviour change but enough time to make a difference.

After your inital session, book your weekly follow up sessions.

I am a qualified exercise physiologist, nutritionist and wellness coach with over 20 years experience in all aspects of health and fitness in Australia and the USA including: corporate health, clinical exercise physiology, sport science, university lecturing and research, fitness industry coaching and instructor training, international fitness conference presenting, university lecturing and as a TV health and fitness expert and author.
I have many years of experience helping people live healthier lives and I recognise that simply knowing about healthy diet and physical activity doesn't make it happen. Neither does wanting, wishing nor 'the expert' telling a client exactly what to do. Changing behaviour is essential to achieving and maintaining goals in health & wellness for life.
I have worked with people suffering from chronic disease, corporate clients at executive health centres, with families and a range of athletes and entrepreneurs. I have run businesses, I raise a family and compete in sport - formerly in snow skiing, currently in dressage riding. I have insight into the challenges of lives that are always busy and never 'balanced'. But I relish the opportunity to use my skills to help others achieve wellness.
